By far this was one of the most enjoyable rallyes for us to plan. We had fun finding places to put hidden notes, Subroutines. We can only hope those who ran had as much fun finding them. We do need to apologize again to everyone who got mixed up with the AT versus ON for 2 of the Subroutines, we are blaming the precheckers. :) We waved all time penalties because we know this caused some people to go in circles for a little while before it got clarified. Teresa would like to thank all that voted for her as the winner, Nick is off licking his wounds planning his revenge. Granted Protests: -1 car got mixed up with the AT versus ON and found a CM early we granted them the 10 pts for the correct marker -1 car the slip in the idol slipped to where they couldn't see it. Denied protests: -1 car felt they couldn't do the Ellis sign from the freeway sign but the definition of AT said As close to as possible. -Only THE word following at had to be on the sign to be able to execute the RI. This is the second time we have done this gimmick and I don't think it will be the last. -One of the tricky gimmicks we had was that TURN could be done without a specified direction but OPP required a direction so the RI TURN 1ST OPP couldn't be done because there was no specified direction. If the RI had said Turn at Montebello it would have been good. -When a RM puts something in an SI it means those items can not be gimmicked. So when the RM says to fill in your Names & other information it just means there will be no gimmicks on that section, it doesn't mean not to complete the other sections of the scoresheet, it just means there can be gimmicks on those sections not specified.
