Rallyemaster's Comments: We would like to thank everyone who ran the rallye. We hope everyone enjoyed running it as much as we enjoyed writing it. Now that this rallye is done we are finishing the work on our rallyes for 2006. The next rallye you can enjoy from the Stefanisko's will be April 1st South Park April Fool's Day. This will be a fun drive around Sunnyvale trying to catch the 4 boys from South Park who are out playing tricks and cutting school. A special congratulations to John Mirassou and Sandra Powers for being the 1st car to ever get a perfect score on one of our rallyes. Also it should be noted that 1st and 2nd place Seniors, had the same score as 1st and 2nd place Experts. Expert class has grown a bit thin lately. If you are a Senior, and you are consistently scoring in the Expert range; please consider moving up. Being an Expert is more fun when there is competition in the class. If you are a Senior or an Expert, please consider writing a rallye. The Rallyemasters are more than happy to mentor you through the process. Even if you feel you have no creative brain cells, you can still be a Rallyemaster. TRC has archives going back over 30 years. You can use one of these old rallyes as the basis of a new rallye by changing the T or AT rule or by simply verifying that the route still works. Signs, signals, and even the roads themselves can change over the course of a quarter century. Such events allow old rallyes to become new again, but they need a Rallyemaster to bring them to life. Let that Rallyemaster be you. It was very interesting to see which gimmicks many of you had difficulties with and the ones the majority caught. Some of the areas people got caught up in were: 1: Considering gimmicks while on an SI. Not as many as on our other rallyes, but there were still some who applied gimmicks to SIs and got some impossible combos because of it. It is important to remember when you are on an SI, the rallye stops for just a few minutes and you don't need to think, just do. 2: "The" word following AT We always have 1 gimmick in our rallyes that we think most people will get and usually the opposite happens, of course this rallye was no different. The gimmick that tripped up the most cars was the AT rule. THE word following at had to be on the sign, extra words didn't matter. This gimmick might just need to make an appearance at a future Stefanisko rallye to give everyone a 2nd try at it. 3: Not getting the OC CMs. The locations where listed in the GIs. One would expect that everyone would be looking for them and find them. We were very happy to see that only a few of you ended up in Knockturn Alley instead of Diagon Alley and that all but 1 car remembered to get the caldron. How did you stack up? Below is a break down of the average score by class and the number of cars in each class that had each CM/CP on their scoresheet. 1st Timer Beginner Novice Senior Expert Master Over All ------------------------------------------------------------------------- AVG SCORE 690 744 873 907 950 963 860 CM 1st Timer Beginner Novice Senior Expert Master Over All ------------------------------------------------------------------------- H1{10} 2(100%) 5(100%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 23(100%) UU3{20} 0 1(20%) 2(50%) 3(50%) 2(100%) 3(80%) 11(48%) BB45{10} 2(100%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) B15{10} 1(50%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) HH39{10} 0 2(40%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 17(74%) XX46{10} 0 1(20%) 0 0 0 0 1(4%) K3{10} 1(50%) 2(40%) 3(75%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 17(74%) P20{10} 1(50%) 0 0 0 0 0 1(4%) G23{20} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 22(96%) GG19{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 22(96%) AA16{10} 2(100%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) L8{10} 0 1(20%) 3(75%) 4(67%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 14(61%) V49{10} 1(50%) 1(20%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 18(78%) I43{10} 1(50%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) C29{10} 0 1(20%) 0 2(33%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 9(39%) W16{10} 1(50%) 0 2(50%) 1(17%) 2(100%) 1(40%) 7(30%) DD49{20} 1(50%) 0 0 1(17%) 0 1(25%) 3(13%) J41{30} 0 1(20%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 1(50%) 2(50%) 13(57%) MM13{10} 0 1(20%) 1(25%) 0 1(50%) 1(25%) 4(17%) LL45{10} 1(50%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 21(91%) QQ6{10} 0 0 1(25%) 0 0 1(25%) 2(9%) JJ14{20} 0 1(20%) 3(75%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 14(61%) Q40{10} 0 1(20%) 2(50%) 3(50%) 0 3(75%) 9(39%) A49{10} 0 3(60%) 2(50%) 6(100%) 1(50%) 4(100%) 16(70%) KK10{10} 1(50%) 1(20%) 0 0 0 0 2(9%) SS49{20} 1(50%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 21(91%) F15{10} 0 1(20%) 0 0 0 0 1(4%) E30{20} 1(50%) 2(40%) 3(75%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 17(74%) EE45{10} 2(100%) 5(100%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 23(100%) NN17{10} 1(50%) 1(20%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 17(74%) VV31{-10} 2(100%) 2(40%) 1(25%) 1(17%) 0 0 6(26%) R31{10} 0 3(60%) 2(50%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 16(70%) O48{10} 2(100%) 5(100%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 23(100%) M49{10} 1(50%) 4(80%) 3(75%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) DA1{470} 2(100%) 5(100%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 23(100%) DA2{10} 2(100%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 20(87%) DA3{10} 2(100%) 5(100%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 23(100%) DA4{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 22(96%) DA5{10} 2(100%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 21(91%) RR13{10} 1(50%) 2(40%) 2(50%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 3(75%) 17(74%) Y38{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 3(75%) 22(96%) Z49{-10} 1(50%) 3(60%) 0 1(17%) 0 1(25%) 6(26%) N28{10} 0 0 1(25%) 0 0 0 1(4%) ZZ24{20} 0 1(20%) 0 0 0 0 1(4%) PP37{30} 0 0 0 1(17%) 1(50%) 4(100%) 6(26%) T33{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 22(96%) CC16{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 3(75%) 20(87%) U10{10} 0 3(60%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 19(83%) S10{10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 22(96%) II14{-10} 2(100%) 4(80%) 3(75%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 1(25%) 18(78%) YY3{20} 0 1(20%) 3(75%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 4(100%) 15(65%) FF44{10} 0 0 1(25%) 0 0 0 1(4%) WW26{10} 1(50%) 3(60%) 4(100%) 6(100%) 2(100%) 3(75%) 19(83%) X9{10} 0 0 0 0 0 0 0(0%) TT25{20} 0 3(60%) 1(25%) 1(17%) 0 0 5(22%) OO35{30} 0 3(60%) 0 0 0 1(25%) 4(17%) D12{40} 1(50%) 1(20%) 3(75%) 5(83%) 2(100%) 3(75%) 15(65%) DA13{-10} 2(100%) 0 2(50%) 0 0 0 4(17%)
