July 17, 2002 TRC General Meeting minutes

Called to order at 1937.

Members present:

Teresa Stefanisko, Cris Wendt

Minutes from last meeting:
  Amended to correct Neil Bliss' last name.  Approved as amended.

Officer's reports:

President:
  Nothing to report.

Vice President:
  Not present.

Secretary:
  Nothing to report.

Treasurer:
  Not present.

NCSCC Representative:
  Nothing to report.

Last Event(s) Report:
  June Bride finances closed, scoresheets back to membership chair.
  Volcano more-or-less smoothly, despite last minute creation of the
rallye.

Next Event(s) Report:
  August is Car Wars II / Attack of the Clones, rethrow by John
Mirassou.  Steve Watt and Cris Wendt to precheck.
  October is Monster Mash, rethrow ready, Flyer almost ready.
  November is (new!) One Ringy-Dingy by Darin McGrew.
  January school rallye (AB) by Steve Watt.
  February by Stefaniskos.
  April CM by Cris Wendt.

Open Dates:
  Maybe TRC rallye in Dec?

Old Business:
  The membership list still needs to be synchronized between the
secretary and the treasurer.  Still waiting on Willie to get to this.
Backup gimmick (A/B) rallye still being worked on, should be done Real
Soon Now.  Cris will precheck.  NCSCC just wrote the check for
insurance.  TRC's fraction is ~$150 plus $131 per event.  Bill appoints
Cris Wendt as insurance chair.
Stefaniskos contacted Evening Magazine -- more people will need to ask
for a story to be done.  kpix.com
Awards and par plaques will continue.  Will ask about participation
pins for $3 on scoresheet.
Larry's Autoworks is moving in September, need to include on Flyers
for October (Abby), November (Darin McGrew).

New Business:
Mailing after Aug Mtg:  Hill & Valley, Carrera de Sierra, Monster Mash,
November, Toy Rallye.  PCA to help $$?.
